Hi @ Marie ,
Errors shown with api are needed to solve on your google console. They are not mostly related to plugin error.
But we will try to guide you with  possible steps that you can follow  to restart with api . 
Go to your google console  at https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/dashboard and make sure you enable respective api for example “Google calendar api”.
Once enabled you can use this any where.
Now click on https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials “Credentials->create credentials->Api key”
You can restrict this api to “Google calendar api ” by editing this.(Not compulsary but yes you can specify this to one particular service)
Now this newly created api can take upto 5-10 mintues before we can use it in any project .
If after these changes you are not able to list your events you can share your details with me . I will check them .
